Thanet Colts

Thanet Colts entered, what was then called The Sunday Works League, in 2001. They came into the adult league straight from youth football, with only a average age of sixteen. They soon found out the difference between youth and adult football, and finished bottom of the league. Yet they didn’t give up, and learned from their experience. Since then they have steadily moved up the leagues.
In 2005 the Works and the premier leagues merged and Thanet Colts were put in Div 2. They had their best season to date, by finishing runners up, only losing two games all season, and won the Junior Invitation Cup.
The aim for the team now is to build on last seasons success and to get into the Premier League, and establish themselves as one of the top teams in the area.
