Christmas at SUBWAY

Thanet Colts have experienced a wonderful first half of the season, two
defeats since July is fantastic for the coaches and players.
To celebrate the 1st team will be going down to SUBWAY in Ramsgate for their
Christmas Dinner on the 17h December at 1100hrs.

'Thanet Colts Under 7's first team enjoyed taking part in a funny hair
spectacular with their friendly encounter with Deal Town Rangers, the hair
colours varied from light green to multi coloured as the boys raised £187.00
for Children In Need.
It was a shame that the heavens open and the boys faces became a light shade
of their coloured hair but everyone enjoyed themselves and had fun with the
hair styles.
With various events supported by the parents, Thanet Colts Under7 's
community did themselves proud and and a big thank you for all their help.

'25th November 06' Thanet Colts Supports CHILDREN IN NEED

The Under7's are supporting the Children In Need Appeal this year with a
FUNNY HAIR DAY on the 25th November. The team is entertaining Deal Town
Rangers in a friendly encounter on that date with a 1200hours kick off time
at Hartsdown Technology College.
The players have been issued Sponsor forms to raise money for this cause and
help with the appeal.
All the Thanet Colts community are happy to join us on this day and
hopefully enjoy the hairstyles on parade.

Day out at Margate FC

'Thanet Colts enjoyed a day away from training with a day trip to Hartsdown
Park to see the Margate first team in action against FleetTown in the FA
Cup. All the players,coaches and parents enjoyed the day it was a shame
about the score line as the game ended in a 0-0 draw.

I would like to thank Margate FC for their hospitality and allowing the
young players to see Margate in action, especially in the FA Cup.

Manager Stuart Laws stated' It was nice for the players and parents to get
together away from the training ground and enjoy a football match. It's
important that young players enjoy all aspects of football and I'm glad that
we had opportunity at Margate'.

Match cancelled

' The encounter between the Thanet Colts Reserves has been cancelled due to
both teams agreeing that the young players shouldn't be put under any
pressure in playing against their friends.
In time they will play against each other but they are too young for this
type of encounter.
The match was scheule for the 11th November at the Hartsdown Technology
College with a kick off 1200 hours.
Thanet Colts 1st team will play against Ramsgate Youth Colts at a venue to
be arranged.
