Thanet colts eventually made it into the cup semi finals after beating Kennington 8-7 on penalties.In a tight game both teams gave a whole hearted performance but couldnt muster up a clear cut chance and went into the break level at 0-0.Thanet eventually took the lead thanks to Kyle Boyle after some good work on the right from Eddie Woolston.The visitors soon replied with a thunderous free kick to level the game,probably the only way past the superb colts defence of Lewis Ford,Damon Short and Tom Paris.Thanets keeper Joe"the cat"Heath pulled off two outstanding saves in the closing minutes to keep his team in the tie and was awarded the man of the match award after not only saving a penalty but also cooly scoring one.Well done lads.
