RAMSGATE YOUTH U8s B 0-4 THANET COLTS U8s B
The teams first football after a months break ended in a win,
WILLIAM PRICE opened the scoring with a unstoppable shot to put colts 1-0 up, JOSHUA ROWE added the second following a corner,stabbing home at the back post,
a fine cross by joshua rowe found the head of BILLY WALKER who made it 3-0,
Ramsgates keeper threw the ball out,only for JOSHUA ROWE to find the net from outside the area to rap up a 4-0 win, Jack hinkley was back to his brillaint best after a few uneasy games,and new signing boyce played a solid game,as did captain Jack balcombe ,keeper Mathew blatchford made 3 or 4 exellent saves to keep yet another clean sheet,
all the boys played to a very high standard and all looks well for the coming season

CANTERBURY TOURNAMENT SATURDAY 9th JUNE
winning 2 and drawing 1 gave colts the top spot in the group table,playing some fantastic football the boys drew the 1st game 1-1 with FAVERSHAM STRIKE FORCE B,then beat CANTERBURY EAGLES 7-0 with some outstanding pass and move football,next up they beat DYNAMO FC 3-0 again some really good football was on show,
the semi final came to quick as we were beaten 5-2 by HERNE BAY HARRIERS,the boys were so upset coming so close to their 1st medal,

RAMSGATE TOURNAMENT SATURDAY 7th JULY
The boys came runners up in the group on goal difference,drawing the 1st game 0-0 with RAMSGATE A,
then beating ST MARGARETS 3-0,followed by a 1-0 win over TANKERTON A,the last game saw us draw 0-0 with FAVERSHAM STRIKE FORCE B,
The q/finals saw the boys battle out a 0-0 draw with RAMSGATE B, the spot kicks that follwed were top class,and the hero of the match was goalkeeper MATHEW BLATCHFORD who saved the last spot kick to send us to the semi final 5-4,due to a injury we were a man down,and TRINITY A chose to field all 6 players,the boys played the game of their lives,only to go out to 1-0 with the goal being scored with 6 SECONDS left,what a performance from a great team,well done to every player
SATURDAY 28th JULY CLIC SARGENT CHARITY MATCH IN AID OF CHILDREN WITH CANCER,
What a great day,COLTS U7S & u7s RES made it a day to remember as together we raised £2000 what a fantastic effort from everyone,with NEVILLE SOUTHALL presenting JACK BALCOMBE with man of the match, and both sides playing some exellent football it was a day to remember,with COLTS B running out 8-0 winners,but the real winners were the charity and the children who need it,
