Dear Football Clubs
I am organising an event titled “Thanet Schools Get Active!” at Upton Junior School in Broadstairs on Monday 4th June 2007.
“Thanet Schools Get Active!” is a training event for Headteachers, Senior Managers, Healthy Schools Co-ordinators, School Sports Co-ordinators and PE teachers and will focus on schools’ responsibilities and the opportunities available to them to promote physical activity, not just sport but also walking, cycling, dancing etc, to children, young people, staff, parents and the wider community. All 49 Thanet schools will be represented.
The event will include a “marketplace” for clubs and other organisations to promote themselves throughout the day.
Some of the larger clubs will have their own displays, but other activities will be grouped together on “themed tables” as shown on the attached hall layout.
There will be a table for "youth football" and I would like to invite you to display any leaflets and promotional material that you have.
There are three options for getting material to me:
Deliver it to Upton Junior School, for the attention of Ellie Crine, by Friday 25th May
Deliver it to me at the address below by Friday 1st June
Deliver it to Upton Junior School on the day (Monday 4th June) between 7.30 and 8.30 am.
